Friends of the Park had regulary convened on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 10am meeting at the notice board.

As of 2008 due to the drought, hardness of the ground and lack of accessible water to water new plantings and ongoing watering, planting days have indefinitly been suspended.

Please join us from 10 am for a couple of hours of weeding, pruning, planting and tidying up. 

Bring family, friends and other willing workers but unsuitable for young children or people unsteady on their feet.

Wear sturdy footwear and sunhat, bring a raincoat, drink bottle, workgloves, basic hand tools and enthusiasm and hope for fine weather.
